The proposed study aims to examine the relationship between compassion satisfaction and job satisfaction of frontline child welfare employees. Hopefully, this work will educate future managers in their efforts to improve retention and job satisfaction at their agencies. There has been considerable research to explore the link between supervision, turnover intention, burnout, and posttraumatic stress within the workforce (Barth, et. al., 2008; Ellet et al., 2007; Williams et. al, 2011, Zlotnik et al., 2005). However, limited research has explored the link between compassion satisfaction and job satisfaction.
